Search by Legal Status


Advanced Patent Search allows you to search for patents based on examination information / statutory status.

In order to search for patents according to examination information / legal status, select the field of examination information / statutory status from the search field as follows.

Search by application date (invalidation trial, judgment, information provision, browse request)

Patents can be searched from the latest application date in invalidation trials, judgment, information provision, browsing request etc. With this function, you can easily search for patents invalidated for appeal within the last six months or patents on which information was provided.

To select the application date, you can select from the search field "invalidation request date (latest / Japanese / US)", "judgment request date (latest / Japan)", "information provision date (latest / Japan)", (Latest / Japan) "," appeal appeal trial request date (latest / Japan) "," correction certificate request date (latest / US) ".

As the search value, you can enter the range by specifying the range as follows like the date search etc. such as the filing date, publication date etc.

20060201:20070512 The latest application date is included in the period from February 1, 2006 to May 12, 2007
20060201: The latest application date is after February 1, 2006
:20070512 The latest application date is prior to May 12, 2007

Search by number of requests (invalidation trial, judgment, information provision, browse request)

You can search for patents based on the latest number of requests for invalidation trials, judgment, information provision and browse requests. With this function, it is possible to easily search for patents whose information provision or number of viewing requests is within the numerical range of a predetermined number of times.

To select the number of requests, select the number of invalidation trials (Japan and the United States), the number of judgment requests (Japan), the number of information offerings (Japan), the number of browsing requests (Japan), Choose between Appeals Appeal Trial Bill Count (Japan) and Correction Proof Request Number (US).

As a search value, you can enter a numerical range specified as follows.

1:3 Those whose number of requests is within the range of one or more but three times or less
1: Those whose number of requests is one or more
:3 Those with 3 or fewer invoices
